If you have no A/C, sense humidity, want a tool thats durable, easy set up, east to read this is the item. I have a room that can get very hot and at times humidity. I have all kinds of devices trying to keep comfortable. I brothis item to see what's going on. It came with a battery, a small pamphlet of directions and plenty of 1-800 numbers if you need help. The device will tell you if your area has the correct balance indoor temperature and humidity. I placed mine on a bakers rack. My conditions weren't balanced. I woke up the next morning and what greeted me was a ??. I think next summer I'll have to get a room dehumidifier. I would recommend this item. It has a magnetic back also a stand.

Works great! I like the display and how it will give you the highs and lows for whatever time period you are wanting to look at. Easy to use, just pop the batteries in and turn on. Looks like I need to get my humidifier going.

Great product, exactly what I was looking for. Holding the product in the photo to show scale of size. We are expecting a baby soon and want to have an accurate reading of the temperature in the room he will stay in. Over a +5F difference on the top level of our home versus the main level where the thermostat is. Will buy this one again if we need another one.

So far Ive really like its functions, and the magnet on the back is so nice! It came well packed, I liked how it came with batteries, and it has easy instructions to follow. I got it to monitor my plants in the greenhouse, so well have to see how it works in there! Setting the app up and connecting the device to my phone was very easy. Edit: So Ive been using this for like a month, and I have enjoyed it so very much! It deserves way more than just 5 stars! It connects to my phone so very easy via Bluetooth, and is actually accurate! I used it out in our greenhouse which was about 100 feet away from the house, and inside it still had a great connection. Its been so nice to have it to monitor my plants. From it I learned our greenhouse was too hot to start seedlings. The highest it got was 140 degrees F. in our greenhouse. And it took freezing temps too! So happy to have it. And oh, the magnet on the back has been so nice. I can magnet it right onto a metal plant shelf! Thanks for such a great product!!

I was looking to get a humidifier. Before I splurged on that, I thought I first should check what my current humidity was. At the time, I was living in Los Angeles, and it was winter. Both meters read that my humidity was 9% at the lowest. I bought a humidifier immediately because I knew I needed it. The humidifier I got can be set to turn off once the humidity reaches a certain level. I used this as a reference to determine the accuracy of these meters. If I set my humidifier to turn off at 50% humidity, these meters when close by would always read 50%. I've cross-referenced thermometers to check the accuracy also, and they've always been on point. Overall I'm very impressed with these little things. I love having two since I keep plants in separate areas, I can put a meter in multiple places. I love that they have a kick stand to prop themselves up. They came with batteries and I've had mine on for almost a year straight and so far no dead batteries. They're small and subtle enough to blend into an area. They also magnetize, which is very cool. I've kept mine on the fridge before. Lastly the high/low feature could be better. I wish I knew how far back the meter pulls for the high/low data. I lived in California when I got them, and now I live in Alaska. The high/low has been decreasing with time which tells me there's a drop off of data, because my all time high temp use to be 117, now it's "only" 101. I wish I knew the amount of time data is stored to pull these high/low data sets. This is my only complaint and it's so small, it's mostly out of curiosity than any actual fault of the device. The smiley/frowny faces are a cute touch, they indicate when humidity is nicely high and depressingly low. For the price, and the quality/accuracy, I will definitely repurchase. These are great for houseplant owners that just want a little more data on the ambiance of their plant's area without breaking the bank. They'd also be good for anyone that suffers from skin/breathing conditions impacted by humidity/temperature.

Works great and the Bluetooth is awesome. We tore down our 115 year old house and I put the original pine and oak floors in a storage container with a dehumidifier while we built the new house. I could check the history of the humidity in the container and the battery level of this unit without opening the container

We've had four of these instruments for over 6 months and just ordered two more. All meet or exceed our expectations and are functioning as specified. The single exception is that the Bluetooth range somewhat shorter than indicated but they're all performing within stated specifications. We have not had to replace any of the AAA batteries that were included. That in conflict with some previous reports of excessive battery consumption. The response to rapid changes in ambient temperature is slow, frequently taking 15 or 20 minutes to correctly report the new conditions. We find Graphs of temperature and humidity provided by the app to be quite useful. It's just a personal preference but we prefer this item to the newer and more expensive TP359 model.
