I got this to track the barometric pressure for my migraines. The outside temp is off a couple degrees, that’s possibly due to the placement of the outdoor monitor.It definitely has helped tracking when to take action with the barometer increasing, the light is off but the screen is readable during day. A press on the top and the screen brightens for about 30 seconds. It stands well with the flip out stand. Easy adjustments with the controls on the back too. So far I’m pretty happy with it.

Bought this about a week ago and so far, the temps were pretty accurate. Inside, I have 2 thermometers mounted on the wall and the indoors temp is generally within a degree or 2. Same thing with humidity. As one of my wall mounted units is also a TempPro with a hygrometer, I can bench test this weather station with those readings and they usually are within 0.5 degrees difference and humidity is generally spot on. As for the outdoor readings, you have to make sure you mount the outdoor wireless sensor out of direct sunlight, otherwise you'll find the outside temps reading 80+ while in fact, it's only 60 outside. A shady spot will give more accurate ambient air temperatures. I cannot verify the accuracy of the "forecast" feature, as the installation is still new so it will need more time to acclimate itself to the various temps, humidity, and barometric pressure readings as time goes along. The real test will come this summer when humidity and temps rise. But, so far, so good.
The weather station was easy to set up and I love that the batteries were included. The only thing I don’t like is that it has to be plugged in to keep the display on the brightest setting. It’s hard for old eyes to read when it dims.

Works very well
I was skeptical as if this would work since I was placing it inside a shed approximately 130 yds from the house to monitor temperature inside a shed. I had tried other products that were "Long Range" but didnt work or would constantly disconnect. The TempPro has worked flawlessly throught the winter and is still performing the function that I need it to do. I have no complaints.
Love the color display. I hooked mine via the adapter for a.c. you can then raise and lower the brightness. Just wish it had time of day. Seems to be accurate according to my other thermometer.
About as simple to hook-up as it gets. Works great. Definitely has the range I wanted. Really like the brightness adjustability.

Tried TempPro weather stations (6) after years with the other brandEasy to assemble but not clear if remote sensors need to be outside or if more than one weather station can be attached to one remote sensor.Also, barometric pressure is useless info if you cannot interpret it / if you are not a weatherman. Clock in same space on weather station would be much more useful.Will give these a try for 6 months and decide.
It is nice to be able to see what the outside temperature is from inside my house but I do have one reoccurring problem with this product. I’ve had to pair the remote sensor with the base unit numerous times since buying this four months ago. The sensor is only 41 feet away from the base, well within the maximum recommended distance. It’s easy to re-establish the connection and luckily the sensor is just outside my front door so I can easily get to it but it is an inconvenience.
Received as described, however I was looking for a weather station working on batteries and not requiring household current with only a battery backup. I have hung it on a wall with the wire showing down to the floor. So far the only problem I have had a couple of times the temperature would stick at 64 for a couple of days and then go back to actual temperature. The weather predictions work well.
It’s working well so far! The outdoor sensor connected without issues although it has disconnected a few times but I suspect that’s from RF interference from kitchen appliances. It has always reconnected after a few minutes. It feels well made and durable, hopefully will last me many years.
This is the second TempPro TP280 I’ve bought, the first was returned after a short time because the signal between the base station and the remote sensor kept dropping. The distance between them is around 50 ft so that shouldn’t be an issue. The new one has dropped the signal once so far but it’s been connected for only a week. The previous system I had, not a TempPro, worked for many years and signal dropping was never an issue.I really like the display on this unit, it’s clear from many angles and from a distance which is why I purchased the same item again. You can change the channel on the unit if the signal drops but that didn’t help with the previous unit.It’s a great weather station when it’s working as it should.

Outdoor module lower limit doesn't make sense for states that have cold weather. The outdoor module should be able to read to a lower (real-life) outdoor tempature. Otherwise, it's great. Other products by this brand are also great.

Running a ranch, where you are outside most of the day, this little weather station has been a great help in starting out the day!
I wish this devise had a calendar instead of the forecast. Everything else is wonderful.
Sets up easily. Display is nice and readings are just the right size. Outdoor Sensor is reliable and doesn’t need occasional reconfiguration like some other brands. It’s awfully bright at night. Doesn’t have an auto dim feature but does have several dim settings. For me the brightest is best for the day but a dimmer setting used at night is too dim for the day. Requires USB -C cable for constant power. The barometric pressure and weather forecast features are useless. A clock and calendar would be much more useful.
