TempPro TempAir CORE TP49 Indoor Thermometer & Hygrometer — ±1°F/±2% RH, Comfort Indicator

We currently have some allergy problems going on in this house, and I wanted to monitor the humidity in the bedroom and man cave. I ordered 2 hygrometers, and this one went in the man cave. I love that is is very small - and shows the basic information that I want, temperature and humidity. It does that, and it does it well. I also like the little smiley face that comes up if the humidity is in the good zone, although it did take a full month for the smiley indicator to work.This came complete with a battery, and ready to use out of the box. The price is reasonable (under $10 at the time of this review) and the footprint is small. Recommended.

This has been one of the handiest little additions to my greenhouse setup. I use it daily to monitor humidity and temperature so I can keep my plants happy during hot Tennessee weather. The display is clear and easy to read from across the room, setup took seconds, and it’s been very accurate so far. Compact size but incredibly useful if you garden indoors, have a greenhouse, or even just want to monitor humidity inside your home.

Great little thermometers they appear to be very accurate. Did a number of comparisons and Im quite happy with the results. However, they are much smaller than I initially thought they would be. Not necessarily a bad thing, just not what I had expected.

These seem fairly accurate and while slight variations are expected, they both have fairly close readings. I also tested one in my bathroom and saw the humidity rise and eventually fall with the use of the vent/fan, and this confirmed its ability to detect changes. They're also a bit smaller than expected which is great since I don't want them to be the center of attention in my home. Came with batteries, auto refreshes frequently, the stand works well, no distracting LED lights - simple and does the job.

I PURCHASED THIS BECAUSE I LIVE IN A BASEMENT AND IT GETS WARM TO SOME DEGREE. WANTED TO SEE HOW THE HUMIDIY WAS, AND TRIED THIS. LOVE THIS AND IT READS FAST AND ACURATE.

Calibrated them with salt; one was dead on and one was 1% off, I think par for the course.

The hygrometer/thermometer is working well. It is easy to use, is accurate and the display is easy to read.

nice small size but with large display, and takes "regular" battery. Big improvement over the last one I bought. Calibrated with my HVAC thermostat, it's within 1 degree. I just wish it had a compass. Good price, good value.

I've had this for about a month now, I wanted to make sure that it was accurate since I work with resin and this was going in my craft room. To keep an eye on a room temperature and humidity which is important to me. I actually borrowed my neighbors room thermometer to make sure that it was accurate , which it is!I needed something that was small that I could move it around the room if I needed to. This product has been great.Not only with room room temperature , but with the humidity. In Florida, humidity can be a major problem.And i'm able to track it with this product.For such a small product, you would be amazed to at how easy it is to read the display numbers they are nice and big.I can see it from across the room.I would definitely suggest this to anybody who needed to keep track of temperature and humidity, i would definitely buy again if I needed to keep track of another room, however, it's so easy to move from room to room.I don't know if I would need to.It's so functional.

We know it’s a dry environment, but we’ve always wondered how dry. We got this set of thermometers / hygrometers to satisfy curiosity about the conditions. It’s nice that it’s a set of two so we can set them in different sections of the house. They read similarly, but can be off a degree or two, which we can feel in different parts of the house, so we figure they’re pretty accurate and not just mimicking each other. The humidity readings, however, live with the sad, unhappy face under 30. Often it’s under 20, and a few times it’s been down to single digits. To test its capabilities to read anything higher, we’ve taken it into the bathroom during a shower. What do you know? It does have a happy face and higher numbers! We’re just in a perpetually dry climate (which we’ll take over a stifling muggy climate any day). So we’ll rate these gadgets high because they seem to work well for basic information. They’re easy to see and read. The batteries are lasting, although we can’t say for how long. Overall, a small portable thermometer is a handy little gizmo to have.

I got this because my girlfriend kept complaining about the temperate in certain rooms. Of course, as someone that pays the power bill it is my duty to protect the thermostat and make sure too much energy consumption isn't happening. Dads unite, this is how we help fight climate change, right?Anyway, my significant other kept complaining about the temperature in different rooms, accusing our thermostat of being in the wrong location and that there are different temperatures throughout the house so we needed to turn the air lower, or turn the heat up, etc.Well fear not friends, with this handy thermometer you will know the exact temperature in any room you have it in. I recommend buying multiple just so you know what the temp is and won't get persuaded to allow anyone else to fiddle with the thermostat.Another great feature is knowing the humidity. In the winter when your people want to turn up the heat because it's too cold, you can check the humidity. I recommend humidifiers, to raise that up to about 40% because when there is water in the air it does tend to feel warmer.It has a magnetic back so you can have one on the fridge, or wherever you can just stick it. It also has a stand where it can just sit on a table.Don't be fooled though, if the thermometer is sitting in a sun beam, it will read as a higher temperature. Also, if someone is holding it prior to showing you the temperature when pleading their case, it will show as a higher temperate. And of course, if it is sitting in front of a drafty window it may show a lower temperature. Use common sense when possible.Overall, this was a good purchase. I now know the temperature in every room. However, if your family is right about the temp being too high or low, you might end up giving them the evidence they need to convince you to turn the thermostat up or down a degree. Proceed with caution friends, but knowledge is power.UPDATE: This bad boy is still working! Winter wasn't even a problem, it's helping me fight the good fight.
