TempPro TP50 Digital Indoor Thermometer & Hygrometer — Calibratable, Large Backlit

They work well, and the magnets are nice and strong!

I am using two TP50s to monitor temp and humidity in a 40 foot shipping container. They are very simple and fast to install: The meters have a magnet on the back that allows them to be mounted to the sides of the container without any modifications to the container nor any marring to the surface paint (the backs of the units are smooth plastic). The TP50s are simple to operate: put in batteries, use the magnet to stick to a surface, and the current temperature and humidity and the all-time high and low temperature and humidity (extremes) can be viewed on the front display. (There is also a face representing a "comfort level"). The all-time high and low temperature and humidity are retained until the units memory is cleared by depressing and holding a button on the back or removing the batteries.The TP50s that I ordered are very minimalistic. No connectivity. They have no remote monitoring capability. No long-term trending. No Apps. They are just simple temperature and humidity meters that display current values and track all-time high and lows.Even though the TP50s are simple, both units that I purchased gave similar readings for both temperature and humidity to our more expensive weather station. The readings were not exactly the same but within 1 degree on temperature and 1% on humidity. After several weeks of use in the containers, both units (which were initially placed next to each other), have tracked within 1 degree of temperature and 1% of humidity to each other with temperature swings from 11 degrees to 99 degrees and humidity swings from 11% to 54%.As long as they continue to function for a reasonable period of time, they work for my application (tracking the temperature and humidity at both inside ends of a 40 foot shipping container) and I am happy with the purchase.

I purchased this in 2022. Its been almost one year, I am still using this to monitor humidity and temperature. I really liked its performance. Its accuracy is impressive. The size of the hygrometer is small as we can keep that in our palm, but large, clear and easy to read display makes it user friendly. It provides instant humidity readings. The inclusion of a temperature switcher adds versatility, making its a dual function tool. I am using it in my living room for monitoring the humidity level for my indoor plants. Sometimes I am using it in my bedroom, the hygrometers responsiveness to change in environment is commendable, ensuring real time monitoring. It also shows high and low levels of humidity and temperature. The comfort indicator is also good which helps us to aware of the changes in the humidity levels. It is easily portable. The stand for tabletop use and magnet for attaching to the metallic appliances makes it more convenient to use. The build in quality is good and the battery life is impressive. its been almost one year without any battery replacement its still working. Overall, a great product for anyone serious about maintaining optimal humidity levels.

We purchased these Humidity Readers and they are working great at the AquaVIVE Electrolyte Food Production Room.

Humidity monitors work great. Nice design and easy to read. Minus one star because the status indicator (too high/comfortable/too low) does not appear on the monitors. I have had them a month and saw comfortable appear on one unit only and for a short time. Not a big deal, but the feature is not being utilized well. You would think it would show one of the three status at all times. Adding a star. I realized the temperature has to be appropriate and not just the humidity for the comfort indicator to be on. I have been keeping the home at 66 degrees all winter. Great product!

So far I've really like its functions, and the magnet on the back is so nice! It came well packed, I liked how it came with batteries, and it has easy instructions to follow. I got it to monitor my plants in the greenhouse, so we'll have to see how it works in there! Setting the app up and connecting the device to my phone was very easy. Edit: So I've been using this for like a month, and I have enjoyed it so very much! It deserves way more than just 5 stars! It connects to my phone so very easy via Bluetooth, and is actually accurate! I used it out in our greenhouse which was about 100 feet away from the house, and inside it still had a great connection. It's been so nice to have it to monitor my plants. From it I learned our greenhouse was too hot to start seedlings. The highest it got was 140 degrees F. in our greenhouse. And it took freezing temps too! So happy to have it. And oh, the magnet on the back has been so nice. I can magnet it right onto a metal plant shelf! Thanks for such a great product!!

It's smaller than you might guess from the product photos, but it's accurately described in the product listing. The display is large enough and bright enough to be read across the room. The readings seem accurate -- they generally agree with the humidity levels in my air humidifier. Nice product.

Great little thermometer..shows temp and humidity. Like the historical display with hottest/coldest data. Edified its accuracy with another thermometer. And recommend the thermometer.

I’m a “cookier” and I purchased this so I would have an accurate humidity reading when making my decorated sugar cookies. The humidity affects how the cookies will turn out. I love the size and reasonably sized numbers. I recommend this

Great for measuring indoor temperature and humidity. I like the small size and easy to read numbers. Also, great value. I ordered two: one for my house and one for my boyfriend.

Accurate readings so long as it’s placed correctly. The device itself is pretty damn small so that is the only negative to this, the sensors are on the back so place it where it could accurately measure the room. It has a small kick stand to prop up, a magnet on the back, and holes to mount on a wall.It’s a great small measuring device and it’s accurate enough for lab reports on a smaller scale. Just be mindful that the device is tiny whenever you’re using this for experiments and data logging. Keep in account for the room size.

Very compact, attractive and accurate humidistat/thermometer

Have used it twice in the two weeks we've had it, and a very pleased with it. I can insert a probe in a thick part of a cut of meat, and another probe in a smaller/thinner end, watch the temps and adjust heat and/or location on the grill to ensure that the target doneness is achieved.

Can believe how easy this hygrometer was to use! I will definitely be buying from them again.
