It's very nice. Simple and works well. It comes with a AAA battery. We had the old version for a long time until it finally died. This one also includes has a built in magnet if you want to attach it to the fridge.

Didn’t work. Had called service number as battery not fitting properly. Figure that was the problem. He replaced.Never had a battery packed in plastic. And instruction did not mention. Works fine and battery fits after plastic remove. It’s a great meat thermometer.

Bought this after realizing I left my Thermapen at the in-laws. This thermometer worked great! I was hesitant to try them after having an issue with a previous TempPro and the company gave me so many issues in providing replacement probes. But I was in a bind and it was an overnight delivery. This small pin definitely did the trick.

My husband grills, smoke and cooks a lot of our meats. Before he was always cutting into the meat to see if it was ready or guessing (with steak). He was getting frustrated with this method as sometime the exposed meat would dry out or it would alter the final product. With this now he doesn't have to cut into the meat until he is ready to serve it. The thermometer reads quickly and we've tested it's readings with other thermometer's and it is pretty accurate. The LED light is great when it’s winter and dark or we are smoking late into the night. The display size is just right for the unit. Easy to read and gives quick feedback. It is easy to clean with soap and hot water. We usually let it air dry on the frige as it has a magnet on the back. He loves the magnet cause it can leave it on the hood range, fridge, or even the grills hood, so its easy to find for him. The color is vibrant to so its hard to lose with a bright red. The tip is very sharp so it slides into the meats smoothly. There are way more pros to this unit than cons. He couldn't really think of a con to be honest.

I use this for fish and veggie sausages/fake meats mostly.I like it just hope it won't break like the others.Has fallen off the fridge but just the battery compartment came off without breaking the plastic.I like it takes big batteries don't want to have to tape up the small ones.Has served its purpose so far.I will let you know when/if it breaks.

I got this on a good deal at the time, so I figure the quality would match the price point. Plastic was cheap, and the end where the probe broke because the tip was still slightly in the meat and I moved the meat slightly to the side. I got almost a year out of it. Best thing about it was the light up display. Made it easy to read when light was fading in the evening when grilling in the winter.

I use this thermometer to take the temperature of my bread that I make to make sure it is completely cooked inside. It works great. I have another one of these for the meat my husband cooks in our pellet smoker. I prefer not to use the same one for my bread as his briskets.

This digital thermometer works really well on measuring meat temperature. It’s has a light that makes it so easy to read the display.

This one in particular I like its size and that it has both a magnet on the back and the basic meat readings. It is small enough that I actually take it back and forth to the cabin and to seasonal home down south. Now there is never the excuse that meat is not prepared correctly. I feel more confident in the foods I prepare and put onto the table.
