Great thermometer for inside my smoker. I dont trust the built in gauge alone so I put one of these on each side of the smoker sitting directly on the grill. They work great to keep me aware of the smoke temperature. Very small and take up very little grill space.
These are the best oven thermometers I have ever used. As a pastry chef, I need to know whats going on in the oven .. and working at a restaurant where the oven is used relentlessly, it can be off by a few degrees (or 40?!!!). These are small but easily readable. You can set them on a rack, or hang them either way, they are super accurate and work very well. Knowing the correct oven temp when baking things as temperamental as macarons or cinnamon rolls is key! I highly recommend these totally worth it!
