TempPro TP829 1000ft Wireless Meat Thermometer - 4 Meat Probes:I purchased this Model No: TP829B with 4 color coated probes in Sept, 2025.I really like this thing. I've recommended it to several people. It has really helped me keep track of what's on the grill so I can get other things done at the same time. Just awesome. I can prepare beef, pork and chicken at the same time and monitor temps on all three items. The preset meat temps is a very nice feature. I don't have to keep looking up the correct temperatures. The built in alarms tell me when something is done and I can adjust those temps if necessary. Just awesome. The display is easy to read and the temperatures update every few seconds.Having said that, after 5 months, 2 of the probes are having problems.1 has completely quit. The 2nd is very intermittent and the temp fluctuates quite a bit.I'm thinking that putting them in the meat with the grill lid closed is not a good idea. I try to grill under 350 oF, but still, closing the lid might not be healthy for the probes. The included user guide says not to use the probes above 572 oF. The unit comes with a 1 year warranty and I've emailed the company to see if the probes are covered under warranty I've had a Weber iGrill probe for nearly 15 years and I've only had to replace the probe 1 time using it with the grill lid closed. So, we'll see.Overall, I'm really pleased with this Thermprobe kit with 4 temp probes.Update - I emailed ThermPro and discovered the kit including probes are covered by a 1 year warranty that can be extended to a 3 year warranty by simply registering the product.

Once I bought this item my girl and cooking were much easier, I did not have to come down 2 flights to check my smoker temp in the middle of the night. I even use it in my baking

It worked great - and the only hassle was the wires (which is part of the design) - but my PK grill/smoker has a port for the wires. It did everything it was supposed to do - and the wireless connection process was automatic.

This brand is great! This is my 2nd purchase from them. My 1st one that lasted me about 10 years. Tells me the temperature accurately, has different meat modes, and a built-in doneness guide, and I love that it has two inputs so that I can track two different pieces of meat at the same time, very helpful when you have various sizes…

I’ve been pit smoking for 40 years. I’ve had remote temperature sensors from Oregon Scientific and from Maverick before this one. This is hands down the best one I’ve used. Having 4 probes allows me to monitor temperature on both ends of the pit and leaves me 2 probes for meat. And the 1,000 ft wireless coverage is real. The signal to the remote is the best I’ve seen.

It works very well. The probes are really accurate. The back light is nice. This is my second thermpro thermometer this one is a lot better than the last model. Highly recommend!

This thermometer set proves that quality and reliability don't have to cost a fortune! I went with this type of traditional RF thermometer kit after reading about countless connectivity issues with the more expensive bluetooth app-based thermometer kits. I've never had any RF connectivity issue with this kit. The unit is very easy to learn/program/adjust to your specific needs, the large display is easy to read, it has tremendous range (even inside a metal roof house), the backlighting is great for those early morning/late night smokes, and both the thermometer & remote display units have great battery life. The 3 built-in mounting options (wall, strong magnetic, and fold-out stand) are great features too. I choose the 4 probe option to give me the ability to read the constant ambient temp inside the cooking chamber (using the supplied probe grate clips) with one probe, monitor both the flat & point of a packer brisket with two probes, or to monitor 2-3 turkey breasts or whole chickens with 2-3 probes. If your looking a for a great reliable barbecue thermometer that doesn't break the bank, I highly recommend this one!

Just used this set for the first time to smoke a 15hour beef brisket. It allowed me to keep the fire within a close temp range. Connectivity was never lost, with the Grill sitting outside in my deck and me in the opposite side of the house more than 70 feet away. Crossing several walls/rooms and floors. At some point I went to walk my dog and get my mail several houses down the road and still stayed connected. Is easy to setup and learn how to use. Great buy for this price! Forget about phone apps and complex systems. With this you can have eyes on your temps non-stop.

This is a really slick tool if you’re into cooking good food or especially if you’re into barbecue. The four probes are very handy either for doing multiple pieces of meat or how are used them to check either side of a brisket and to check the grate temperature side to side in the cooker.The range is excellent, it broadcast through a garage door, a garage wall and into the house without any issues whatsoever. Unlike the multiple wireless Bluetooth ones that I have if there’s anything in the way obstructing the path of the signal, it has a tendency to drop out.The instructions are a little confusing, which is typical for a device like this but once you figure out the button sequence, everything works smoothly.The photo is of a brisket that cooked for 24 1/2 hours. Easily nailed the temperature and the tenderness and now it’s sitting in a warming oven for 12 hours.

I have own this for a couple months now. I love how I can be in the opposite side of my house and not have to watch my smoker. The 2 probes help me keep an eye on my grill temp and meat temp. Build quality is great for the amount of times I have dropped it. Easy to use and read!

So far my ThermPro works perfect! Last night I smoked a pork loin for the first time. It was only 20 F outside so I put it on the Trager and literally did not have to go outside. I sat inside watching football until my inside unit started flashing. I saw that one probe had reached my desired temperature but the other probe had not. I waited the 20 minutes until the other side reached temp. It was effortless, readable and didn't require a rocket scientist to operate it!

I love this 4 probe TempPro! It works great for grilling and my off set smoker. 1 of the probes stopped working and I emailed TempPro customer service, after a quick requested test failed, they quickly sent another complete unit! I don't know why there are any bad reviews for this product. If you register it you get a 3 year warranty! I have also checked each probe with an instant read pen and it's always been correct. I also modified the portable part to connect to my belt so I can do other things and still keep an eye on the grill/smoker temp.

Cooked a 16 pound turkey in an air fryer. I used all 4 probes just to verify temperature in the legs and breasts. Worked perfect. Gave alarms on the indoor monitor at 165 degrees on all 4 probes. I recommend this item.

Off by 2F but very consistent. Shouldn't affect cooking much. Good value.
