I was looking for an awesome thermometer that I could put in meat while cooking to watch the temp but also did not want to pay a super high price. This thermometer is awesome. It can read two temperatures, you can also set the temperature so it alarms when your meat is up to temp. The display lights up and even shows the battery life so you know when to charge. You can flip it either way and the digital screen rotates with you. It even has a magnet so you can stick it on the grill, smoker, or oven nearby. Oh and I almost forgot the bottle opener on it! I am highly satisfied.

Super user friendly. Meat is cooked to perfection every time. The magnet makes it easy to store anywhere and display is easy to read.
I use this almost daily when cooking my meals. When grilling, it is easy to quickly take a quick read. When baking I just program the temperature I want, insert the cable probe and attach the body of the unit on the outside of the oven door. The beep signaling that my temp is reached is loud enough for me to hear while I'm prepping other parts of the meal. I like that there is a guide for ideal temps for different meats on the back. (where you will also find a button to set the temp), and I also like that it is rechargeable. The only thing I would add to this to make it a five start product is that I would prefer the magnet would be stronger. The body of the thermometer is too heavy to securely attach it to the oven door and it slides down. I use another magnet to keep it in place.
UPDATE 2: The vendor was nice enough to send a replacement unit. Good Customer Service!UPDATE: I love this thermometer but THE PLASTIC BROKE AFTER OCCACISIONAL & NORMAL USEI really loved this thermometer but it failed after light duty.The plastic collar that broke turns out to be EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO FUNCTIONING. The device FAILS with a weak hinge as shown in picture. The unit needs strength in that hinge area to allow for taking the temperature. The broken hinge is a pressure point and should be constructed with heavier duty plastic or rubberized.Really Disappointed :(

I bought four different meat thermometers before this one. Yes, I know, a little obsessive, but I finally found one I like. The temp reading is really quick, turns on quickly and recharges through a USB. It tracks within a few degrees of my K thermocouples on my home built smoker controller which is close enough.
Works great after several uses. Charged once and been quite some time for any indication of low battery . All good so far. Been months now

I've had this for almost a year and it's holding up decently except tonite the additional probe broke. I went to pull it out of a pork roast and the end cap just pulled the jacket right off even though I had a firm grasp on the bent part and not the wire itself. Not very well made if it can't hold up for a year.The rest of the thermometer works fine for the most part. I do think it reads low on occasion as there are times meat comes out a little too cooked based on the temp it's reading and other times the meat comes out perfectly.It does its job though 90% of the time so, for the price it's worth it. As others have stated the magnet is not very strong and does tend to slide.Recommendation to the manufacturer: make the probe connection more similar to the one on the other TP models (they look a bit more robust) and make the magnets stronger.
