TempPro TP55

Needed to measure the humidity of my space before committing to the purchase of a humidifier. The TP55 did the trick!

Thermpro Digital Hygrometer/Thermometers are the best! I keep temperature and humidity sensitive medications for my horses stored in temperature controlled cabinets. These little units are a good check against the built-in thermostat with the added benefit of capturing the temperature and humidity range over a day. I've used them for several years.

The unit works well. I am monitoring the humidity in my closet and the min/max feature is very helpful.

This is a review of the ThermoPro TP55 Digital Hygrometer Indoor Thermometer. Summary C I wanted something for my desk for a quick reference of humidity temp and offered a back light and this fit my needs perfectly. The device feels durable when held-handled and is super easy to read at a glance, quickly and at various angles. There is no reason not to love this and I would certainly recommend. Meets and exceeds all expectations and has a very low price point. As with all my reviews, I will update this review should this develop issues with ongoing use. Pros 5 year replacement or refund warranty and this says a lot about the quality of the device. 4 Large display that is easy to read and has backlight button with a nice blue color. Backlight button will turn on a blue backlight and this stays on for 15 seconds before turning back off. Reads humidity and temperatures in 10 second intervals. Has an indicator for dry, comfort and wet conditions. Min and Max listed for 24 hour time period. Press and hold All Time/24 Hrs button to reset. Can be wall mounted, magnet mounted or you can use the kickstand for table use. Powered by cheap common AAA batteries and these are even included. Can use rechargeable AAA batteries. Can change between Celsius and Fahrenheit. (C or F) Cons None so far. Notes Designed for indoor use only. The sensors measure around the unit itself. If the weather is nice, you can certainly take outside, however, it should not be taken out in adverse weather conditions and is not made for outdoor use. Made in china. Only uses batteries and no option for AC adapter. If your screen is blurry, make sure you removed the plastic screen cover.

I got this hygrometer when I was having mold problems with my window air conditioners . The humidity here was sometimes 100% in the summer. So this could tell me what the humidity was at all times ,I could turn on the dehumidifier to have the relative humidity which is 30 to 60% . I put one in my kitchen. I put one in my bedroom and I also bought some small ones that I liked but not as much as I like this bigger one because this big one is easier to read and I like the light bulb at the bottom of the screen, you press it and it lights up blue it also tells you the temperature of the room I noticed if you have the right comfort level and humidity level, you can sleep so much better I wish I wouldve bought this years ago . I watch it all the time even in the winter and if it gets too dry in the winter, you could use a humidifier .I would highly recommend this hygrometer . Everyone should have one in their house. You can put it on the wall or you can use the magnet and put it on your refrigerator. I put mine on the wall. Very easy to install .Im not sure what the battery life is on it but Ive had it for months and never had to change the battery I think it is very accurate cause Ive seen the same readings on my dehumidifier .
